Nigerian nightlife entertainer Fisayo Olagunju, popularly known as MC Fish, has reignited his public dispute with estranged wife and actress Anita Joseph, making a controversial allegation about the loss of their child.
MC Fish made the claim in a series of posts shared on his Instagram Stories while responding to allegations concerning their marriage and financial responsibilities. He accused Anita of presenting what he described as a misleading account of their relationship and claimed he took loans to sustain their lifestyle.
In one of the posts, MC Fish referred to the couple’s loss and alleged that Anita’s use of waist trainers contributed to it. “Remember I told you it was because of all those waist trainers you are wearing that you lost my child,” he wrote.
The claim has not been independently established, and there is no public evidence in the reports confirming that waist trainers caused the loss. Anita Joseph had also not publicly responded to MC Fish’s latest allegations at the time of reporting.
MC Fish further alleged that he had screenshots and recorded conversations concerning Anita’s dealings with an unnamed religious figure. He also rejected claims that his former wife financially supported him during their marriage, saying he borrowed money and entered agreements to maintain their lifestyle.
The renewed dispute is significant because both entertainers have previously discussed the breakdown of their marriage publicly, including allegations concerning infidelity and other relationship difficulties.
In June, MC Fish described the marriage as having ended because of irreconcilable differences and said he chose to leave to protect his peace and that of everyone involved.
MC Fish and Anita Joseph married in February 2020. Anita later confirmed that their marriage had ended following a period marked by personal difficulties, including the loss of a pregnancy. The latest exchange has brought renewed public attention to their separation and the unresolved claims surrounding their relationship.
