Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has challenged Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia to a celebrity boxing bout, shortly after defeating actress Nkechi Blessing in Lagos.

Asked who she wanted to face next, Phyna named Etinosa, who was present at the venue. She alleged that the actress had repeatedly contacted her through direct messages and indicated that she was ready to settle their differences in the ring.
“That will be Etinosa. She’s been messing around in my DM, and thank God for Chaos in the Ring. Etinosa, her time is now overdue,” Phyna said. The Times Nigeria
Etinosa subsequently accepted the challenge, while maintaining that her previous messages to Phyna were intended as advice. “Moving around to advise you to carry yourself and Edo name with pride, na bad thing I do? You don get the confidence now. Challenge well accepted,” she said. The Times Nigeria
The potential clash has generated interest because it could extend the growing celebrity boxing series while giving fans another high-profile entertainment matchup. However, no official date or venue for a Phyna-Etinosa fight had been announced in the reports reviewed.
Phyna’s challenge came after she defeated Nkechi Blessing in a scheduled four-round bout, securing victory in the final round. Reports said she received a ₦50 million prize, a championship belt and a new car.
The “Chaos in the Ring” event combines professional boxing with celebrity contests and has featured entertainers including Carter Efe and Speed Darlington. Whether Phyna and Etinosa’s verbal exchange develops into an officially sanctioned celebrity boxing bout remains to be seen.
