Hon. Prince Simon Chiroma Dangyang, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, has taken his campaign engagement to Sot Ward, where he met with community stakeholders and residents as part of his grassroots outreach.
The engagement provided an avenue for Dangyang to interact directly with residents, listen to their concerns and perspectives, and exchange ideas on issues affecting the community.
Speaking through the engagement, the candidate emphasised the importance of maintaining a direct connection between elected representatives and the people they seek to serve. The interaction also focused on community development, grassroots participation, accountability and responsive representation.
Dangyang’s Sot Ward engagement forms part of his broader efforts to connect with communities across the Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 elections.
He maintained that effective representation requires regular engagement with constituents and an understanding of their priorities, concerns and expectations.
The engagement ended with renewed emphasis on dialogue, unity and participation, with the campaign reiterating its message that the voices and concerns of residents should remain central to political representation.
